Southern Road

This is a very long road that starts at the double-mini-roundabout where High Street and Bell Lane converge. It first runs to the Southern Road Recreation Ground park, then takes a right turn and runs straight, all the way to Windmill Lane, where it becomes Elms Road.

We will review the businesses and associations along its length and its ‘tributaries’:

Next held on 15th June 2024. This raises huge amounts of money for charities and organisations in Thame. This year: Red Kite Family Centre; Thame Society for the Visually Impaired; Thame Youth Memorial; Jack & Jill Pre-School, Chinnor.





Then we reach the end of our walk-around of Thame. But there are still several places we have yet to contrive to reach - Towersey Road and Tythrop Way. Rather than try to fabricate some convoluted walk to reach these – we will jump!
